TL;DR — We collect nothing
WipeX runs entirely in your browser. No account required. No data is ever sent to any server. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking. Your tweets stay on your device.
1. What data we collect
None. WipeX does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The extension operates locally within your browser and interacts only with X/Twitter on your behalf.
2. How the extension works
WipeX is a Chrome extension that automates actions you would otherwise perform manually on X/Twitter — scrolling, clicking, and deleting. It reads tweet elements from the page DOM and simulates user interactions. All processing happens locally.
3. Backup data
When you use the backup feature, WipeX collects tweet text, dates, and URLs visible on your profile page and saves them directly to your device as a ZIP file. This data never leaves your browser or gets uploaded anywhere.
4. Third-party services
This landing page is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may collect anonymous request logs per their Privacy Policy. We have no control over or access to that data.
5. Cookies & analytics
This website does not use cookies or any analytics. No tracking pixels, no session recording, no fingerprinting.
6. Your Twitter credentials
WipeX never asks for your Twitter password, API keys, or OAuth tokens. It runs within your already-logged-in browser session — the same way you would manually delete tweets.
7. Disclaimer
WipeX is not affiliated with X Corp. Automated actions may violate X's Terms of Service. Use at your own risk. The creator accepts no liability for account actions taken by X as a result of using this tool.
8. Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, we'll update the date above. Since we collect nothing, changes will be minimal.
